1.  Support local ministries            SAAFE HOUSE is a shelter for battered and/or abused women and children.  Our church  ministry includes maintenance of their facilities; pick-up and delivery of food from local food bank; and monetary support. GOOD SHEPHERD MISSION provides food and shelter to locals as well as transients.    Our  church helps with facility maintenance and donations of food and money. SENIOR CENTER is a local ministry to senior citizens.  Our church members assist with delivery of Meals on Wheels, donations, and fundraisers. 2.  World Ministry    Our church members support is through Presbytery-sponsored programs and  mission trips.   3.  Miscellaneous Outreach Projects  We (FPC members) raise money to aid missions  through collection/resale of flower  vases. We collect used eye glasses for distribution by the Lions Club. We collect used medicine bottles and miscellaneous medical supplies for worldwide distribution by the Medical Benevolence Warehouse in Houston. We fill Seaman’s Center Christmas Boxes.  Approximately 50 boxes are filled by our members and delivered to the Port of Houston’s  Seaman Center for distribution to visitors from all over the  world.
